Business Services Manager


We are looking for an awesome all-rounder who is comfortable with all aspects of finance and associated reporting as well as other management tasks. As Business Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of financial reporting packs for three entities including standard monthly reporting and reconciliations
  • Overview of cashflow, accounts payable and receivable
  • Payroll across three entities
  • Taxation compliance
  • HR admin support
  • IT systems management in conjunction with external provider
  • Board secretarial duties
  • Trouble shooting and business development support

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

  • Strong financial skills to balance sheet, P&L and reconciliation level as well as the ability to juggle cashflow
  • Sound knowledge of payroll systems and associated employment legislation
  • High level of computer literacy and familiarity with system networks
  • Can do attitude
  • Flexibility to show initiative and work well under pressure
  • Juggling- you will need to be able to handle multiple balls in the air at any one time
  • A tertiary qualification is desired, preferably linked to finance, however qualification by experience will also be viewed favourably

This is a busy and varied role, working with a great team of caring professionals. The preferred location is the Waipukurau clinic but this can be negotiated for the right individual. Companion Animal Veterinarian

We are looking for a bright and bubbly person with great customer service skills who is able to turn their hand to a multitude of different tasks. To be the successful applicant you will possess:

  • excellent customer service skills with the ability to make all clients feel valued and important
  • the ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritise and handle pressure
  • empathy towards pets and their owners when under stress
  • high level of computer literacy
  • a willingness to work as part of a small and cohesive team

We are a busy, growing veterinary clinic that prides itself on providing the ultimate customer service experience for our clients. You’ll be part of a strong team of professionals and you will enjoy an exciting and challenging role that is fully supported. The role is full-time with weekend work on a 1 in 4 rotation.
