Our reproduction service is led by Dr Annelise Enslin, based at our Waipukurau clinic.
Annelise has a special interest in canine reproduction and companion animal medicine and has worked with breeders across a wide range of breeds and breeding programmes.
She spent two and a half years working alongside the late Dr Stuart Badger, who dedicated much of his career to advancing canine reproduction services at Vet Services. Today, Annelise continues that legacy by combining practical experience with modern reproductive techniques to deliver the highest standard of reproductive care.
Annelise is also authorised to provide MPI semen export certification for breeders exporting canine genetics overseas.
Dog reproduction has been part of Vet Services since the 1980s.
Originally developed to support New Zealand’s racing greyhound industry, our reproduction service has continued to evolve alongside advances in veterinary medicine. Today we work with breeders of companion dogs, show dogs, sporting dogs, working dogs and assistance dogs throughout Hawke’s Bay and beyond.
