Clinic Manager 

Vet Services are looking for a Clinic Manager to lead our busy Waipukurau Clinic.

  • Do you like working in a dynamic workplace with a great bunch of people?
  • Are you a people person and admin superstar who can juggle multiple tasks?
  • Are you results and deadline driven with a passion for efficiency and improvement?

This role would suit an all-rounder with management experience, ideally in a medical or veterinary practice. You will need to be comfortable with all aspects of staff and client management, can lead from the front to help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations and assist with a number of business management tasks.

Financial Controller 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an accounting and finance professional to join the Vet Services Group! 

 

About this role 

  • As Financial Controller, you will sit as the commercial right hand to our General Manager and play a really positive part in the next phase of growth. 
  • The core responsibility of this role will be to deliver accurate financial reporting and ensure the company maintains and delivers on its financial obligations – linking the numbers to commercial performance and business optimisation.
  • Key responsibilities will include oversight of daily transactions, preparing monthly financial reports and ensuring completion of the year-end reporting and annual accounts. 
  • You will have a flexible work location in Hawkes Bay – and the opportunity to get across all locations in your work.

 

  About you.

  • The right candidate will be in a relatively senior accounting role in a commercial or operational environment looking for a new challenge.
  • You will have a CA qualification and broad exposure across the full gamut of financial and management accounting. 
  • You will have a proven track record in finance management
  • You will understand margins and commercial drivers and will love finding efficiencies and and working with data to drive continuous operational improvement.

We are looking for a bright and bubbly person with a real “can do” attitude to join our Companion Animal team. 

 

About this role 

  • We offer a great place to work with a fun and supportive team, regular training, CPD and spectacular social functions. 
  • Our Hastings clinic is equipped with the latest technology to enhance your role as a member of our nursing team. 
  • This is a full time permanent position with work hours planned around clinic opening hours. (Our roster currently has staff working 1 in 7 weekends – with two days off after duty in the following week).

We are looking for a Small Animal Veterinarian to join our friendly Napier team.

 

About this role 

  • You would be working alongside a team of four full-time and three part-time veterinarians, nine skilled and qualified nurses, and five support staff all helping in providing excellent vet medicine.
  • Our passionate small animal vets have complementary areas of special interest including pocket pets, bird, and exotic animals, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, endocrinology and ultrasonography.
