Sharné Boys
Sharné has a special interest in orthopaedic surgery and continues to undertake ongoing professional development in this field. She provides orthopaedic services for companion animals, with a clinical focus on fracture repair, cruciate ligament disease, patellar luxation, and the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Sharné has undertaken extensive postgraduate training to further develop her knowledge and skills in orthopaedics. In 2017, she completed a Master of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery with distinction, followed by a postgraduate Master of Veterinary Medicine paper in orthopaedic surgery in 2020. She has also completed more than ten continuing professional development courses in orthopaedics across New Zealand and Australia, further developing her skills in surgical planning, fracture repair, joint stabilisation, and post-operative care.
Working closely with our veterinary, nursing, and rehabilitation teams, Sharné provides coordinated care from diagnosis through to recovery, helping patients achieve the best possible outcome.
