Working Dog Performance Partnership – WOOF

Terms and Conditions

 

1. Programme Overview

The Working Dog Performance Partnership is offered by Veterinary Services Hawke’s Bay & Dannevirke to eligible clients with working dogs who sign up to our annual WOOF programme. (Formally known as the dog vaccination run). The partnership provides access to discounted veterinary fees for approved services, subject to the terms outlined below.

Participation in this partnership is optional and conditional.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for, and remain a member of, the Working Dog Performance Partnership:

  • You must own or be responsible for working dogs (e.g. farm, station, or genuine working animals).
  • Lifestyle farmers are not eligible, unless they are already historically on our WOOF programme.
  • All enrolled dogs must be signed up to and attend the annual WOOF programme.
  • Programme benefits apply only to dogs registered under your farm.
  • VSHB/DVK reserves the right to confirm eligibility at any time.

3. Programme Validity Period

Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of the annual WOOF. This is set between June -Sep, then for the month of November to cover any done on ram runs. Any vaccines done out of these date ranges may not be eligible and are at the discretion of VSHB/DVK.

  • Membership does not automatically renew and requires participation in each annual WOOF programme to remain valid.
  • If the vaccination run is missed, programme benefits may no longer apply.

4. Included Veterinary Fees

The programme applies to the following veterinary time-based fees:

  • Veterinary surgical time
  • Veterinary attendance time
  • Veterinary consultation fees
  • Veterinary revisit/recheck fees
  • Only these fees are eligible under the programme.

5. What’s Not Included

  • Other various service fees not included above
  • Medications and Pharmaceuticals

6. Payment Terms

  • All accounts must be kept within VSHB payment terms and policies.
  • Automatic cancellation of programme membership will occur if payment terms are exceeded or accounts become overdue.
  • Reinstatement is at the discretion of VSHB once accounts are brought fully up to date.

7. Animal Welfare Expectations

Participation in the programme is conditional on appropriate animal welfare standards being met.

  • If animal welfare concerns are identified, VSHB may suspend or cancel programme membership.
  • Attendance or care provided under animal welfare obligations remains unaffected by programme status.

8. Right to Cancel or Amend

  • VSHB reserves the right to cancel membership at any time, at its sole discretion.
  • VSHB may amend, suspend, or withdraw the programme or its terms with reasonable notice.
  • Cancelled memberships do not qualify for refunds or retrospective discounts.

9. Mutual Respect

VSHB values respectful, professional relationships with our clients. Membership of this programme is dependent on appropriate and respectful interactions with our team. Where conduct falls below this standard, VSHB reserves the right to withdraw programme benefits.

10. Non-Transferability

Membership benefits:

  • Apply only to the registered client and eligible working dogs
  • Are not transferable to other clients, animals, or properties
